Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Stratford Collision With Car

A motorcyclist was seriously injured during a crash with a car near the I-95 entrance ramp according to the Stratford Police.

The crash took place around 8 a.m. Wednesday, on Honeyspot Road near the I-95 southbound entrance ramp, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.

"The collision occurred when a motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection," Eannotti said in a release. "The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment of serious injuries."

The driver of the car suffered minor injuries, he noted.

The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed.
